Excellent pet portrait.  This shot seems to capture not only the the stunning beauty of the animal.  It also seems to suggest that the animal has been given some human qualities, possibly intellegence and understanding.  This is really that type of shot.  I wish I could get my dogs to sit like this when I have the camera.  Maybe the trick is to have a burger in one hand and the camera in the other.
