Wow - Roman ruins in Nebraska in Winter - must be a chris nichols shot .. !

I see his point a little, but the purple is too nice of a color to ignore .... I don't think you would utilize a dress that colorful just to desaturate it.  The ruins make an excellent background but I think it needs a different angle to look a little less cluttered ......... The little distractions I'm talking about are in the upper right corner - and the roundish thing in the upper left - lose those and I think you got it ...

I'm not sure about the light - looks like a cloudy day - not sure if that's good or bad in this case ......... a re shoot maybe to see.  I know I know - another long day with your co-worker here - you'll manage  (-;

Artists who are experts on color would say this is a perfect example of a vivid complimentary color scheme.  In fact it just jumps out at you with the red-violet dress and green grass, each heavily color saturated.  My only criticism is that the feet and lower legs are overexposed.
