Girl Beating on a Drum DSC_9841

This photo is the first of three. The 3rd, which I think the best, was

previously submitted for critque and rating. I have no idea why this girl is

walking down the street beating on a drum, so no use to ask.

And portrait of a whole figure also, I'm again amazed with the tones! Cheers Meir!

If tones are generally good it is because of all the "Zone Phography" books I read WAY  back in the OLD, OLD, OLD days when I was YOUNGER, YOUNGER, YOUNGER. Sigh :-)  Thanks as always for your visiting and helpful comments.

About "tones" (and still holding texture/detail). I was once told by a pro and it is true; "black tux and white tablecloth are a wedding photographer's nightmare".

Another excellent portrait.  In addition to the tones, her stance -- so strong -- and the way she holds the sticks adds a rhythm or a beat while her face is solemn.  This makes me feel like I'm sitting outdoors at a cafe watching the people.  Great!!!
