Those candles don't seem to put out any light

This is very impressive still life work and of very well selected contents which add a great interest to this amazing accomplished result, your way of exposing this image is remarkable and so the amount of fine details ginned, the tone is a real outstanding element and did create the appreciate atmosphere which also add to the powerful composition here.

The original version with its light and contrast add a sine of beauty drama also to this image while the corruption been made has lost most of the interesting light effect.

This picture must be viewed on black page, black all around that is! The impression of the candle light is perfect on the picture as it is, only the flames of the candles don't look bright enough, therefore not exactly persuasive, but it doesn't mean that all the room must be brightened, no, only the flames with a certain amount of feather, IE selected, certain feather given to the selection and carefully brightened the selected! Otherwise this picture I consider a masterpiece of a still life! Bravo Maestro!
