Chris, thanks.  The background is reservoir water that evidently had glacial salts in it; hence, the dark green tone.  I, too, liked the zen-feeling imparted by this composition.  

I love the pattern of branches and leaves upon a plain BG. It is artistic. To me it is is very laid back, I like to have it some punch. I took in in PSCS3 in curves I moved middle pointer to -77 and then mod contrast in curves.  To me it looked better. The BG gets darker and the branches pop out. You may not like the effect, but play with it anyway. Regards. Ifti.

The maple branch was extending over an impounded river with glacial
