stp 6 Posted March 28, 2011 I like the soft contours of the earth and the soft light so very early in the morning. Taken with my Pentax 645NII, which I have just finished selling (body and 6 lenses). Such wonderful times I had with that system.... Comments and suggestions appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment
hans11664883765 0 Posted March 29, 2011 Very nicely done. Soft colors and soft flowing light. Somehow reminds me of a nativity scene. Link to comment
Jeff Lear 0 Posted March 29, 2011 Stunning in it's simplicity. The gradation from purple to blue is just perfect. Beautifully captured. I just looked at a 645 this weekend, still not in my budget but one day. I believe that to be a planet (Venus), rather than a star, given it's brightness in relation to the crescent Moon... I could be wrong. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted March 29, 2011 Stephen... My first and lasting impression is - elegance. Very well presented... Mike Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted March 31, 2011 just perfect. What were you using to scan your 645 work? I have an Epson 3200 and i know that it is good to a point. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted March 31, 2011 Thanks for the comments. Hans, that's an interesting connection you made with a nativity scene.Tony, I used a Nikon 8000 scanner. I sold that not too long ago and bought what was probably one of the very last Nikon 9000 scanners left in the country (and the price was below MSRP). In the latest twist, however, I'm pretty much giving up film. I've sold all my Pentax 645 gear, and I'm debating about the Hasselblad 501cm body. I may go all digital with a Canon 1D series and a Hasselblad medium format series. Link to comment
