Just the kind of image i would love to capture and you have captured it perfectly IMHO. Congrats and thank you for your recent comment. I particularly like the diagonal fog in the rear of the tree.

Lifting fog on the Washington Coast. This is a seldom-visited beach, and I

usually have the place to myself -- wonderful! Your comments and

suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Stephen,   The mood and vertical format here are superb.  I really like the heavy diagonal streak of fog that climbs the embankment.  And the surrounding fog and light are perfect.  Yes, I too pine for images like this. I especially appreciate the natural look of your images.  Wonderful!  Best to you.   Larry

Hi Stephen.  I think you nailed this one for sure!  The atmosphere, and framing choice work so well to encapsulate the idea of the west coast of Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia.  This would probably make an amazing B&W too!  Thanks for sharing this beautiful image.

I like the separation of foreground and background that the fog created and that you captured so well.  Cheers, J

Thank you all for the comments.  I'm now living in a wheat field far from this environment, and I miss it.  But I don't miss the constant winter rain.  I need to move and my house is for sale, but I don't know where I want to go.

This is wonderful, the mist really creates an element of mystery that complements the rugged landscape very well. Your portfolio has some real crackers in it!!

Stephen, all the above comments apply. I especially appreciate your inputs on my shots and love looking at yours to learn more. Hope you find a good place to move and good luck selling your house.

Beautifully mysterious shot. You can feel the fog moving up the hill, not just laying there. Well seen. - Charles

Thank you all for your comments.  Dave, my house, unfortunately, is still on the market, as it has been for over two years (except during the winter when I like to travel).  Tony, Alaska is very high on my priority list, and if I can sell my house and the season is right, that's where I will head, driving all the way.
