Primordial Rocks

Hi Stephen,

I hadn't noticed this one before, but it is a gorgeous seascape.

The hardness of the rock contrasts beautifully with the softness of everything else.  The colours are splendid as well!

First off, I was 2nd to rate your current series of photos and was quite shocked to work out that the 1st rater went 5, 5, 4, 5..........everyone has the right to their opinion but those ratings seem harshly low IMHO, oh well each to their own, rant over.

This is my favourite of the four that you've put up for rating, the shade of red/orange and the mist effect across the stones is beautiful, thanks for sharing.

Mark, thanks for visiting.  In recent years I have pretty much ignored the rating system.  I don't give ratings, and I don't ask for them.  I find comments much more useful.  Unfortunately, photo.net seems to run on ratings, so I thought I'd submit a few photos for ratings to see what happens.  I think folks tend to rate more harshly today than they did five years ago.  Things ebb and flow, just like the tides in my photo.
