Ioannis, an endearing portrait of this woman. I love the way you have focused this, showing the concentration between her face and hand.

How sad! I can see only the drama displayed here, nowhere do I  see any glimpse of humor,as others did. I would have liked to beleive that  the old lady uses  the eraser of a mechanical pencil, but yet I realize this is not the case .

A very strong image  that moves a lot. Particularly those with aged members of the family , or having had taken care of  elderly .   Well done , Ioannis! (with the hope we won't be subjects of such documentory in the distant -or not so much distant-future!) Heretismata, Chris

I think Chris said it all. It 's a sad and emotional shot and the treatment adds a point to this perspective. But I have also found another meaning of this capture. She is trying to write even if the pen doesn't "work"..I can see it in her face that she has decided to go for it. It's the importance of the effort, even if we don't fully succeed. From this point of view, I think this old lady gives us a great lesson of life..

A 7 from me. Thank you for sharing this fragile, yet strong, moment Ioannis.

Best Regards
