woodfred 0 Posted December 4, 2010 Very nice and sensual composition. It's soothing to look at her. The pose is classic but very soft. Bravo Andrew, I like very much that one. Regards, Frédéric. Link to comment

davidmccracken 2 Posted December 4, 2010 I am becoming a fan of your work. I love the relaxed or maybe I should say confident pose. Nothing really to say... just here to good stuff. I am sure you knew that. Link to comment
papasan 0 Posted December 4, 2010 Lovely soft light and exquisite model. There is a feeling of serenity in her face which reflects her confidence. Her pose is also very natural and relaxed. Only very minor constructive observations: i find the edge of the table or board at the bottom a bit distracting, i would have preferred if she was sitting further away from the edge and the edge was not included in the shot. Even more minor, i think the space above her head is a bit too much, cropping a bit closer would enhance the feeling of intimacy. But this is really nit picking on a very well crafted image. andrzejp 7 Posted December 4, 2010 Michel, You may have a point about the table. Table is too narrow for her to sit further.I like the crop however the way it is. Link to comment

jerrymat 5 Posted December 6, 2010 I guess I am confused by your title. The Camera Obscura is an artists device for tracing out the lines of a subject cast by a focused lens. I have played with one. It is not significantly different than seeing an image on the ground glass of a view camera.Your image here has excluded the lighter tones by underexposing, thus compressing contrast. Is that what you mean by "Obscura?"Jerry Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted December 6, 2010 Camera obscura was used to do drawings as you sad. It also did not have perfect optics and this picture was manipulated to resemble that. Link to comment
