There is no Fire!

Beautifully captured shot Bob! The Red drinks, red chairs, red hydrant all work perfectly together in an otherwise nearly black and white scene. Also, their poses and one woman being dressed in all-white while the other is in all-black adds a symbolic element in my mind; As if an angel and devil are sharing drinks. A fun picture to interpret.

Great work! Keep it up. 6/7.

Deep composition, the title as always is wonderful.  Bob your creativity is outstanding, I don't know if you always find the suitable caption for your pictures or if you always find the suitable picture for your titles

Bob, I really like your composition and processing on this image.  I've just have to wonder what these two ladies have been sitting here talking about.  Another fine capture.

Good documentary composition

Definitely a winning combination of colors. I like the predominant 'fire red' in your capture (especially the wine :-) and your pp treatment was very effective here, imo. Great framing as well -- the square emphasizes the textures and shapes of the square window frames in the BG. And yes, black and white even as opposites  in the attire of the ladies pictured....Great capture & very keenly observed.

at some point in our lives we all become parents to our parents and it's always a terrific surprise when it happens - there's some of that feeling in this very cool mother/daughter shot - there may be no fire but there's definitely tension in the air...
