Cropping is such a personal thing, isn't it John?  Kind of like the use of shadows.  Either way, an enticing shot!

This has a vintage feeling, at least for me.  Perhaps it is due to her eyes and hair.

I also appreciate seeing the color version, which gives me an idea of what you did with the conversion to B&W.  It may be an interesting challenge to try it myself and see what I come up with.

Well John, I guess I will throw in my 2¢ worth.  I think I will vote for the black and white version here.  I especially like how you have captured definition of tonal scale; you really have captured the whole range of gray tones in this one.

Maybe I would like best the black and white with the crop of the color.  Cropping is a bit of opinion, isn't it:)  

Since several people have been on my case for stressing the use of a histogram, I intend to refer them to this work where your gray scale histogram is impeccable.

I am appalled that someone can be so gratuitously offensive under a fellow photographer's work, and why attempt to hurt a model that may read this?

Worse to me however is the level of ignorance portrayed. There is a BMI (Body Mass Index), a medical entity that sets the norm for body weight, personal opinions are superfluous and irrelevant. Being my true profession and not photography, I can assure you that the model is just perfect in that respect, which may well be what irritates some people such as yourself.

I would recommend in future that you have the good manners to keep opinions that have nothing to do with photography to yourself.

Yet another stunning model of yours in a beautiful, feminine pose. Very nice range of greys and intriguing play of light. And, fortunately, this photograph is in black and white, as the colour version reveals fingernail polish, which---in my humble opinion---does not match the mood of this photograph, and makeup, which is definitely far too strong (at least when in colour) for nude photography. Sorry for being borring again; I only express my personal opinion biased by my own taste.
