Looks like you were ready for this shot. The colors, shadows and resulting textures really come to life here.  I'd put it up for calendar competition. A 7 for me!

Yes Steve, the long shadows were eagerly anticipated as the sun set. This is the end of the road into the dunes and unless you are staying at the small government run lodge inside the Namib-Naukluft National Park, you have to be out of the park at sun set. Cheers, RickDB
