Interesting exotic shot!

The combination of soft evening light, straw colored grass and the Himba's red ochre skin makes for stunning photos. However, I must give credit to Jim Zuckerman, our expedition leader, who had the vision to organize this photo opportunity. I particularly like this shot because it has a very natural look to it - when you are walking you tend to look where you are going. Having someone looking at the camera takes away some of the spontaneity, it sort of acknowledges the photographer and in doing so makes it look a little posed. Cheers, RickDB
