charity1 0 Posted November 30, 2010 On the first decent frost of the winter, one finds these frost flowers scattered amongst the leaf litter on the forest floor. They are extruded frozen sap from certain plants. Once the sun comes out, they evaporate and will not be seen until next year. A fleeting moment in the forest. Link to comment
