Nice shot, Ken. I enjoyed reading your biography above.  I have some of the same interests, but without your experience or technical training.  I can relate, however, to always having a sense of what is happening in the sky around me, and my memories of extreme weather (usually hurricanes and ordinary thunderstorms) are a very big part of who I am.  Only when I was in Wichita Falls, TX for two years did I try to chase-but only found rotating supercells and some very big hail (tennis ball size--very big for me).  I never saw the funnels which obviously left damage on the ground.  I have found my way into some major hurricanes, starting with Camille and Agnes, although I knew better than to get too close to the centers.  The eyes of various storms have always eluded me.

As for tornadoes, I have the fantasy of getting a shot right up the funnel as it bounces right over me.

I hope that you are alright and will be posting again very soon.

Beautiful presentation of jesus birth. For years we went around locating houses with gorgeous presentations like this one. Warm regards.
