When I first saw this image my mind told me this is surreal, but also art deco. My wife , also intrigued by this picture, at once tried to mimic the pose with great difficulty I should add. The trapeziums in the background conjure up a feeling of art deco from the 1930s, as does the lady's hairstyle.
