From the early 1970's until 1995 I shot only Kodachrome slides with

various 35mm cameras. They were fairly light and simple to use on my

backpacking and climbing trips. I've uploaded a few of my favorite

scans and will post them here; I'm curious to see what you guys think

of them.

 

This one is from the early eighties and is a sunset shot taken from

our camp at the base of glacier-clad Glacier Peak in the North

Cascades. Our plan was to climb early the following morning. After a

dinner of freeze dried gunk, we wandered around on our elevated perch

and enjoyed the views.

 

The red color is due to the smog layer from the metropolitan Seattle

area.
