A very nice atmosphere with the mist and soft tones.  The brighter area of mist really draws the viewers eye in for a closer look.

Thank you all for your warm comments and for your color correction Carsten.  Yes this was scanned.  It's a  medium format and I've been scanning my old film recently.  When I saw this shading I thought this could be a problem.  I was trying to remember if this is what I saw 15 years ago when I shot it or not.  Alan

The mists give great depth.  The suggested variation here helped.  I'm looking for a view of field and trees like this, but perhaps with different colors &/or scene.

I often see the world like this early in the morning and it has nothing to do with an earthly mist, its my mental fog before coffee. A lovely image my friend!
