Great image, Amy.  It was worth getting up early.  The wide angle is powerful here.  Well done.   I lucked out with a similar image that I took out of a bus during sunrise in Patagonia.  I like yours better.

Hi Amy, you have good reason to be excited about this image. It's a very dramatic sunrise. You put yourself in the right place at the right time and captured a fine image. A good sunrise by itself is just part of the formula, but good sunrise over water is even better! Cheers, -Clayton

Amazing!  Great colors and wonderful clouds!  I am not sure if the straight stretch of clouds in the center to the top/right of the frame is a result of an aircraft.  Given the location, I won't be surprised if it was!  Thanks for sharing!
