An emotional subject beautifully photographed
hmmm... those are the rememberence lights of the Twin Towers, right? How did you get the "ghosts" of the towers in? Earlier shot before 9/11 or all digitally added?
oh... shoulda read the title... ok, so they are... but same question applies. =)
The "ghost" towers were added from a shot I'd made a few months before from exactly the same location, so they are in the correct position and to the correct scale. Getting the shot was the result of quite a few visits and waiting for the right conditions of clouds at the right altitude.
Very nicely done. I can kinda see where you stitched in the twin towers. I love the idea.
how to? Last autumn I saw similar light beams in Paris on Hotel de Ville and gave it it try. But did come as good as on your photo (can see results in my folder). How did you achieve this?
I have seen many photos of this and this one really captures it the best.

Bob: This shot is excellent!
I love this picture.
Coming back to this shot, I would like to suggest that you rotate the image about 0.5deg clockwise. IMHO, I think it would make this shot even better. :)
