Thanks, Robert.  I dropped a couple of stops or so on the exposure compensation so that the moon's detail would not blow completely out from over-exposure.

Thank you, Tom.  I simply adjusted the exposure compensation when shooting.  I really haven't worked it over during post-processing.  I rather like the effect you got.  I'll have to experiment a bit.
