olafdziallas 0 Posted November 23, 2010 The Zugspitze, the highest mountain of Germany (2.963m) at midnight. Exposure time was 100s at F6.3 and ISO400. As you can see, the skies in central Europe are much brighter than elsewhere (the city of Munich is located 80Km behind the mountain), so it was not possible to get a black sky behind the star trails (although the sky seemed to be quite dark). steve_rasmussen 312 Posted November 23, 2010 A really nice shot but could be improved by having longer star trails. When that much sky is included in the frame, it must be very intertesting to the eye. Link to comment
