The wonderful mystery that mists suggest is here enhanced by the contrast between the rich texture of the foliage on the ground. Great play with contrasting formal elements such as the tree trunks and the feathery branches piercing their way through like fingers. Toast to you Stanislav. Great image.

The tones and atmosphere you captured are most excellent.  Im especially impressed with the cropping.  For the composition it makes it more impressive.  My only critique could be the harsh brightness top center.  Had the canopy extended across the top of the frame this would be nearly flawless.  Maybee not even that, so much as  just to tone it down a bit with a split ND.  

I like this a lot,  Im rather partial to simple compositions including atmospherics.

Anonymous- thank you for your sharing your thoughts! I understand your point about the brightness. On one hand, I have the feeling that a brighter part has to be there because it adds more depth. But I guess that reducing the brightness a bit would make the image better. Anyway, thanks for your comment!
