ifti 0 Posted November 21, 2010 Nice capture, sharp and good color. Consider cropping out to eliminate the left second red roof as it is distracting. Link to comment

korovev 0 Posted November 26, 2010 I really can't say why I like this photo so much, maybe because the contrast between the painterly look and the clean "architectural" composition give it a strange mood, a somehow unreal atmosphere. Beautiful light in the lower part. Excellent shot!Thank-you also for you visit and comments. Saluti, Marco Link to comment

chris_panagiotidis 0 Posted December 2, 2010 Great presentation of a lovely winter scene! Nice contrast of the roof pure white snow with the gray, muddy one on the alley. Kudos for the composition and the overall mood, Gunnar! Link to comment
alfbailey 1 Posted December 6, 2010 There is a great contrast between the cold snow laden roof and the stonework below with the timber doors, quite often we see pretty picture postcard snow, which of course is very nice to view, but here there is the reality of snow, as it turns to the grey sluchy ice we see here in the backyard alley. The other thing that strikes me about this shot is the proximity of the trees to the building, I'm thinking root damage here : - )Nice work Gunnar!Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted December 6, 2010 I like a lot the light in this composition. The upper and lower parts of the frame, the different influence it has on the red hues of colors of the doors and roofs, the walls colors and textures. It is a touching atmospher of winter,of a very nice corner. Link to comment
fpessolano 0 Posted December 6, 2010 I like the bottom half much more than the top half. I would have concentrated on framing that and discard the rest. Link to comment
