The glow works very well and adds a lot to the overall mood of this wonderful portrait. Very artistic and original presentation.

This is wonderful - just a beautiful portait, and I love the way you handled the brightness around her. The catchlights and her pearl earrings are great, and her expression looks right through you - just great. The only thing I wonder about is the green in her hair-ribbon - it draws my eye away from her face, and I wonder how it would look without it? Just nit-picking here, it is such a lovely portrait - thanks for sharing it with us-

The soft glow is a nice touch, adding to the overall feel.  I like that her expression is natural, not forced.  The blurred background is dreamlike.
