Guest Guest Posted November 20, 2010 Francois,There are a couple of things that I think could be improved, but this is a fun glamour style shot. You have focused well and the composition is good. The pose is good, but her expression looks quite endearing -- more innocent and questioning, than rough. Her hands in fists with their backs towards the camera is quite a masculine pose.If there was more of her left lower leg showing it wouldn't look so much like she was cropped at the knee -- kind of amputeeish. The orange throw pillow just doesn't work with the other colors. It really draws attention away from your subject. Her spread legs work well with the "rough" idea, but I wouldn't pose her top straight on to the camera. You can still look rough and feminine at the same time. Turning her top at an angle to the camera would make her look more feminine and graceful.I think a more natural skin color would work better. The blue tone makes it look a bit like it might be during the twilight hours, but I don't think it helps the image. I have make the skin tone more realistic and cropped the image a bit.Nice shot,Mark Link to comment
francois_benveniste1 0 Posted November 21, 2010 Thanks to you two Mark, the crop you suggest works but there's way too much light for my taste in your version. Thanks anyway for taking the time to propose an alternative... Link to comment
