Your image is approaching a painterly effect, but it would be even more painterly if some of the midtones around the perimeter were darkened, and some of the flow highlights emphasized by dodging.

I like the general feel of the shot and you have done a good job of capturing the water flow. The flower and leaf in the foreground is distracting. I don't know if you can clone it outbut I would try. - Charles
