jerrymat 3 Posted November 18, 2010 This is an interesting image but I feel ambiguous about it. Your lighting and pose are very good and it took me a second to realize that the frame behind her holds a mirror that catches the same wall tones without showing anything. I first thought it was an empty picture frame. I do like the overall effect.Somehow, though, the tray, being made of wood with sturdy edges (I almost said sharp edges, but that is not quite right) seems to be menacing to the soft flesh. I recognize that some can make the contrast a theme in the photo (like posing a nude with knives) but that does not seem quite to express this image correctly. It just comes across to me as an uncomfortable position to be in. That feeling of discomfort fights the soft casual pose of the figure.Jerry Link to comment
spr 0 Posted November 18, 2010 Lovely shapes and lines in this Francois, like the pastel tones and good lighting too Link to comment
wmc718 3 Posted November 18, 2010 I love the model, pose and lighting. Somehow, the frame(?) that she's on just doesn't work for me. Link to comment

raymondborg 0 Posted November 19, 2010 Great composition and excellent use of lighting. Love the pose and colours. Beautiful skin tones aswell. I am not so sure about the green wooden tray underneath the model. For me it feel a bit strange. Still a very good photo. Congrats. Link to comment
