I love how that woolly sweater fills the frame, almost as if she herself is trapped within a bubble.  Those puffed out cheeks are fantastic, in keeping with the round feel of the bubbles, the buttons, and the sweater.

Magnifica toma y excelente momento captado. Preciosa modelo y ademas toda una experta haciendo pompas de jabon. Estupenda luz, detalle y b&w.

Un cordial saludo -Tolo.

Linda, this is just beautiful.  The child is at the perfect moment and even the bubbles make a sweeping swirl.  Lovely DOF also.  Congratulations,  Frank

It’s a skillfully captured sweet and tender slice of life. Bw tonality is attractive. Here you could handle the problem of dof admirably. 6 .. Best regards.

Thank you all for taking the time to comment.

This was taken at a wedding in the summer. All the guests were given the bubble makers and were blowing bubbles at the bride and groom. This little girl was off by herself in her own world blowing bubbles just for herself. I thought she was adorable so took several shots of her. When I was looking at them later on my screen I thought they looked like planets orbiting a little ball of sunshine.

Best wishes,

Linda

There is a timeless innocence and simplicity to this image that makes it so captivating, I think it's great as it is, but wonder if a sepia version would accentuate the nostalgic element even more.

Very well done Linda.

Best Regards

Alf

Wonderful capture, Linda. I love the BW here. Beautifully composed, and yes, I can tell she is in her own little world, which is a splendid one.

Another stylish photo based on the same theme as your last shot, namely, children at play. The b/w work is beautifully done with some great tones.....Bravo 7!

Her natural expression while all the bubbles she has created are  drifting slowly away.   Sweet capture which goes well in b/w       Regards                   John

Adorable in the way of a young Natlie Wood.  I like this in b&w because it helps create a nostalgia of carefree childhood like the fleeting bubbles.   One thing, on my monitor there seems to be some slight inconsistency around her temple, a bit above and below.  Around the lower cheek it seems to lead out to the hair.

Thank you both.

Donna, you are so observant. Thanks for pointing that out. She had a couple of scratchs on her face. I thought I had carefully cloned them out. This isn't as noticable on my screen at high resolution, but now that you mention it I can see it.
