These two bridges form part of an extensive network of rail and road

connections between South & North Korea. They are mostly unused

these days. They were built by South Korea (at the encouragement of

S. Korean business interests) who want to be ready to jump on

economic opportunities in the event of reduced tensions between the

two country or, better yet, reunification.

Wow, what amazing contrast between the top and the bottom of this image.  I love the softness of the trees in the foreground that offset the metallic perfection of the upper bridge.
