Up the stairs

I really love the idea behind this photo! The different umbrellas and expressions of the model's faces really help to show their individual personalities.

You have wonderful instinct for design. All the lines in the ornate looking fire escape and its black color, set against the shapes and colors of he umbrellas and models' clothing, all backed up by the neutral textured wall ....just marvelous!!

I like this photo better than the other one, if you went with 3 people instead of 4 the image would have been stronger, in any kind of image an odd number of subjects always works better than an even number, if you had went with 3 you would have also gotten an implied triangle, a designed shape in an image always rienforces the overall composition, though you do have a pattern with an established rhythm which works well, a fifth subject would also strenghten this. I think you can get a lot of nice pics with this concept, girls with umbrellas are  always great subjects. Best regards
