jerrymat 5 Posted November 15, 2010 Spend an honest 3 minutes looking at this photograph but keep track of where your eyes go. Where did they spend the most time? Over on the left area? Where the least? I'll bet on the other side of the photo in the dark area, right?OK then why all that dark area? What is it doing for the composition? I agree that the curved back is interesting. However the dark space to its right is not.Why then, this crop?jm Link to comment
bjorn_moback 2 Posted November 15, 2010 this is a great photo… just because it breaks almost all the rules. Keep it up! Link to comment
woodfred 0 Posted November 17, 2010 I am shared. But this not conventional nude does not leave indifferent and by it I rather agree with Bjorn. I would just have wanted to see a little more the head. The contrasts are very good. Good job. Kind regards, Frédéric. Link to comment
fonarick 0 Posted November 28, 2010 Jerry such composition, and so high contrast and as that that the model is directed against a direction of sight and "leaves" for picture edge in my opinion creates certain mood, meditations, intensity and a hopelessness in search of an exit. The photo name, not only reflects similarity of a figure and a musical instrument, but also channelizes search of an exit from this hopeless situation. Link to comment
