Nice composition, with a beautiful range of light grey tones. I would just straighten the first step on the right and the top of the triangular opening.

You have an interesting optical illusion here. I understand the picture is looking down the stairway but because the vertical parts are brighter it is easy to see this as going forward in space.  If you placed a person on his/her back on the step you could really increase the effect.
