overall a little undersexposed and a little busy maybe crop a little off the left edge and bottom

I have a secret, the tank blur is probably from the scan.  The slide film might have been bent.  I really should re-scan it so the tank is straight.  Thanks  Alan.

Anthony stole my critique and you stole my photoshop corrected version.  I must be on the right track.  It's fun running those old slides through the V600 scanner isn't it?  Ektachromes are particularly susceptible to fading so this is an excellent way to restore them to their former glory for posterity.  I even have a couple of Anscochromes that I've restored & they were about the worst for fading.  Best, LM.

Thanks Len especially about the Ektachromes fading.  I have about 800 slides left in slide trays I ought to pull out and scan.  But after scanning these 35mm scuba shots and my 120 medium formats,  I've been "resting" if you know what I mean.  I've got to psych myself up to start doing the rest.  Alan

When I got my V500 I was faced with a similar arduous task, a 40 year backlog of old negatives and slides.  Over a period of a year or so I've selected 1 envelope of 6x6 negs (12-24) at a time and methodically went through them, one session at a time, scanning any I thought worthy.  After I scanned them I ran them through PS to restore them to maximimum quality and then stored the results on a 1 Tb hard drive (30% full as of today).  Someday I hope to obtain a second high capacity drive for redundancy storage.  I think the trick to keep from being overwhelmed is to process only a few at a time over a long period of time.  The exercise, for me, has been very rewarding.  You can see a few of my found 'gems' in my '20th Century' folder.  Good luck with your chore!  Best, LM.
