Obviously a modern effort at something old, but the colours and textures make for a great photo opportunity. Nice shot, well exposed but I find the stuff in the doorway a bit distracting though. regards, erik

Somehow reminds me of wonderfully weird Dalí's designs  :)

This building is in Darmstadt, Germany and was designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, an Austrian architect. I was on vacation in Germany last summer and I made it a point to go see this building. It is very cool. The whole thing is like this.

Hundertwasser indeed...next time extend the trip to Vienna to shot the remaining one's..;). Fine colors on this one. Leaving the white 'sky triangle' in the balcony is a question of personal taste I guess.  Compliments!

Very cool image, Chuck. I love the wild sense of shapes, textures and tones. I like having to take a moment and figure out all the details of what I'm looking at. Very original and fun to view.
