Very well composed and executed. I just wonder if the difference in color in the tunic of the two little monks is real or due to processing. The one on the right has a rather unrealistic one ...

@Francesco: the colors are real, you got orange and red, I've even seen a bright red monks cloth and a brown one. Lady monks are wearing pink cloths.

Very interesting composition!

I find those timber portals with the surrounding saw edge design fascinating,  the fact that you managed to get such a clear photo of the young novices is a great bonus. I find the presence of the two young men in one of the portals and the absence of life in the other, strangely symbolic, in fact it's great thought provoking image as well as an aesthetically pleasing one. suffice to say, I like it.

This is an image with fascinating details, warm tones and strong contrasts.  All of this has helped to produce an exceptional image with lots of viewer interest.  Your composition appears well balanced, even with the two young monks on the right side of the frame.  Very nicely done!
