wolfgangarnold 142 Posted November 9, 2010 The "look" is 19th century while the composition is 21st century - I like that tension.Leaving so much room is brave but works very well here - leaving room for thinking about her thoughts. The lines are wonderful: her hand and fingers, her neck and arm and shoulder form a very harmonious undulating 'landscape'. mario2 0 Posted November 10, 2010 For me the most atracttive point in your image is the frame and the treatment done, both excellent I haven't any doubt.Looking your work I'm thinking about the pose of the hand and it poor level focus...The hand's pose is fine for me,relaxed;I like it, as such us her look, because likes natural.About the level of focus (hand),I trying to imagine it into a DoF, and I'm not sure if the image will win in somehow from a aesthetic point... And for it,of course I would like to compare these two options, anyway your work displayed it's an excellent job.Best regards.PD the exposure was done very acurate! Link to comment
nicolerenee 0 Posted November 10, 2010 Really strong, the lines are perfection, the angle of her eye and elegance of her fingers and wrist. The tones are lovely. Only praise here, this shot really caught my eye! Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted November 10, 2010 Very nice dramatic capture. I like the lines and tones, and the way her eye is turned. The fingers add such a nice, soft dimension. Link to comment
robwilson 0 Posted November 12, 2010 Despite a very large amount of negative space and a rather unconventional composition, this works very well indeed. The curve of the neck and shoulder is very attractive as is the look on the visible part of the model's face. The toning is also good.Maybe I'd remove the very visible scratches on the right, they distract from the main subject a little. However, that's easily fixed. Overall this is a fine image.Well done!CheersRob Link to comment

sideris 0 Posted May 17, 2011 A work of art, intense, meaningful, aesthetics, extraordinary beauty indeed. Your composition is bold, and the result is a gem. How I wish to have the talent to do things like this!! Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted June 16, 2011 This portrait put a spell on me. I come back again and again looking at for long times. Mesmerizing, haunting. Link to comment
