The light on the tree distracts from the subject; it feels like she's lost in the shadows a bit. It would be nice to see more light in her eyes.

So... not one positive thing I suppose based on your observations Sarah?

It would indeed serve to push my subject forward a tad if I altered/darkened the light levels on the tree bark...

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply I thought they was nothing good about this photo. :) I love the setting and the subject is very lovely. I also like how you framed the shot.

After browsing through your portfolio, somehow this picture lacks the same artistic quality of your other work and seems a little out of place. It's a nice picture, but your other stuff is really awesome.

How can a picture get no less than 6 mostly glowing comments, yet achieve a rating of only 4.25? Perplexing.
