Maybe I should say that this is my tipical street capture, it was taken on a tram station while a boy was sitting on a door-step of a nearby shop and I was kneeling on the catwalk..

This is very natural and well done, with natural-seeming DOF and color. I have attached the Bright Eyes Version, for those who are curious. I like the original.

Wow, that's some color for you! Very well done image, Vladimir. I see into his personality with the piercing eyes. Wonderful details and composition make this a dramatic and interesting work. It's strange how I can't keep from staring at him. He's very enchanting I think.

Amazing, they say that red hair, freckles and green eyes always come together, this is probably the best example, even the red poloneck suits the tones perfectly, excellent work Vlad, top marks

Vladimir, superb portrait of five stars. My comment is only to congratulate you, the sharpness is awesome, the contact eyes is perfect and the light is terrific.
Best regards. 7

Thank you my friends..

Les, your version is seductive, well crafted, however in this particular case I would stick on my version yet I admitt there is a colour saturation problem with my monitor..so maybe, somewhere in between lies the truth - as usual.

Bobby, Tony, thanx. Only now i see his lips looks purple..that is my problem, never had enough patience to "polish" photo...

Such a fresh and powerful image, Vlad. The image works not just because it is so technically sound, but because the expression in the eyes is so powerful. Nice work!

Hello Vlad, I like this portrait very much. The detail is tremendous and you can see every nuance of expression. Yet somehow there is a hint of sadness in this boys face, maybe thats what draws me in to the image. Very good work................................Holger

Vladimir,

There is a timeless beauty to this shot. Form and colour are battling it out because the colors are so beautiful but the look and form are just as gorgeous. Was it done with the 135 L? If so I WANT ONE :-).
