I tried to keep this simple in concept, but interesting in design.

Please let me know what you think of the results...

Thanks!

Thank your for your kind compliment.  It is the norm for images like this to get 3's here on p.net.  There are a few individuals who Do Not Accept any image not made with a physical camera.

The fact that this was created using a virtual camera, a 3D modeler and a 2D renderer, all working together, does not seem to suit their idea of photography even though the same skills and processes are involved.

At nearly seventy years of age I have seen their sort for many years, first with reluctance to move from a twin-lens reflex to a range-finder or SLR and recently to make the move to digital cameras.  Some people just are not comfortable with change or with evolving technology.

From my point-of-view every image is a representation and not a recreation of reality and therefor it is the creation of a technician or artist and not the creation of a device.  The means of creation of an image do not matter... It Is The Image That Matters.

For sheer creativity, imagination and beauty of design, I have yet to see one of your images that I would not rate a 7.  Of course I have only been on the site for a few months. Since this discussion has come about, it gives the opportunity to say that I think you deserve your own category since you really don't compare with anyone but yourself.  No flattery intended just honest praise.  As far as the three birds, think "pearls before swine".  All the best.  Frank
