AJHingel 127 Posted November 3, 2010 Why is that funny. Men need to be nurtured. The weak sex. Physically it is more of a challenge though, beyond what most women, or men, can achieve. Great scene Pnina. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted November 3, 2010 Pnina, this is a wonderful image that shows feminine strength and power. Their postures are interesting, the woman is so strong and in control of the docile, submissive baby man. Captured at the perfect moment. Very impressive. Best wishes, Linda Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted November 4, 2010 Always has been - always will be...Fine title illustration - and sooo true Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted November 5, 2010 Pierre, thanks it is funny Anders, yes we are the weak sex...here is the evidence...;-)) Linda, My theme of "life as a dance", has some truth with the modern advancement of women.... El, you made me smile....;-)) Vadim, thanks I appreciate your feedback. Link to comment
3m 0 Posted November 5, 2010 No question about who the stronger sex in your photo is...! Very original capture, Pnina, and nicely composed as well. (with a perceived sense of movement to the right) And yes, GREAT title :-) Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted November 7, 2010 The art of reversal. I'm sure many relationships feel like this. My wife has commented about a couple of friends whose husbands behave like another child. Ummm...perhaps she's talking in code. Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted November 9, 2010 This one grabs me, Pnina. My youngest daughter is named Martha. She might have written this scene! She commands control naturally - but has recently met her match, and alas, has a broken heart to show for it. Oh how we wish we could rewrite the results. She is young, though, 18, and hasn't known the drama of the lives in this work (thankfully). Beautiful image. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted November 9, 2010 Pnina, very good exposure ,light and interesting theme. The lady appears to be very powerful to handle such a grown-up man. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted November 9, 2010 Marjolein, thanks, it was a bizarre moment when the woman dancer was holding him like a baby, and that's why I have titled it like that...it was a real surprise to see the two....It has humor in the movement, but part of life as well .Alberto, thanks for your feedback.Jeff, your wife, the choreographer and myself probably are using the same code...;-)).Liz, "life as a dance" are also dance scenes taken from life experiences. We all are passing this kind of relations. Martha is young and she will overcome, and find a new math I'm sure of it. I wish her a lot of happiness .I hope this one will bring a smile to her face. Thanks for sharing with me.Amal, this IS a baby man....;-))Thanks ,I hope all is well. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted March 31, 2012 I like the unexpectedness of it, the connection the starkness and the weight and tension I can feel. It's expressive and gestural and it relies on an intimacy with these dancers who become more than their stage presence. Nice use of color, simple, unaffected. The lighting falls very well and helps reveal their expression and closeness. Nicely done. Link to comment
