Hi John, rarely can I fault you, but here I would have liked to see more contrast in the background.  You always have the most amazingly beautiful models and this one is no exception. I'm not sure if it's the angle or the pose, but the head doesn't appear to blong to the body. Oh, which crop, I prefer the landscape version. beautiul women in beautiful surooundings, great.

Thank you friends. It's definitely her head, unless she fooled me the last tilme we met. 

She is close to the antichamber where I am standing, separated by a sliding door,  in which the bounce flash went off.  Hence the room that she is in has remained dark.  I did not change the contrasts in any one place in the picture.  I tend to do this on purpose sometimes, though one may obviously like the two tone effect or not. Many thanks for passing by.  John

John - Nicely done. Before I read your last comment, I was going to ask if you changed the contrast in areas. A very nice effect that really makes this image come alive. I prefer this to the cropped version.

the head problem is an optical illusion that could have been avoided

the hair on the shoulder is a contributing factor, it is elongating the neck for one. had the model turned very slightly revealing the other shoulder we would be looking at a different story.

i like the low contrast  and soft light it all makes it very natural

I love the landscape version of this.  I found myself studying it as much as the model.  At first, I thought the background a little dark, but after seeing the lit lamp, and enjoying the contrast between it and the model, I like it now.

Yes, I agree that the head and body thing is an illusion, enhanced by the position of her hair, her head and her large breasts.
