a truly beautiful nude study

simple yet effective and dynamic.  i find that when one adopts a more traditional approach to the nude form, the chances are that one can hardly go wrong.

soft directional light is important to bring out the form. one has to keep in mind that here we are dealing with form and weight.

the curves of the female body are to be studied well and when these are brought out in the picture, sensuality and beauty come out.

i would have included just a touch of the pubic area, only a small bit, just to give the photo that bit more.

still a favourite shot for me. well done

Compositionally there is something rather classically photographic rather than artistic about it. The posture is very much about the moment, something that can only realistically be celebrated through the camera.

My first issue is the cropping. The lower part should have either ended just above the navel or taken in more of the nether region. Presently, there is a feeling of the incomplete.

I would also suggest positioning the model around the centre. The left is overexposed compared to the right and creates asymmetry.

The subject is a little too close to the wall for the lighting you have used. One can see faint shadows. This might not be such an issue had the model been in the centre and the compositional cropping had been as suggested above, however, I'd advise on getting the model a little distance away from the wall.

The potential in this shot is fantastic and I thank you for sharing it with us.

Rita, Tamarah, Catch, Pierre and Michael; thank you very much for your support. You comment mean a lot to mee.

Starvey,

Lack of symmetry works well for this image. It is one of thous examples where the rule of third can be applied successfully . A bit of shadow makes for a more dramatic effect. I agree with the bottom crop.

I liked this more before reading the comments. Maybe there are times when saying nothing is better than saying something. I like this becuase of the dramatic use of body shape. The agressive use of entry angle agains the exit angle (which does not exit) nails it. I do realise that this comment may be as useless as the rest.
