gaule 0 Posted October 31, 2010 Windstill weather and high contrast suggested a HDR take on this autumn scene. Comments always appreciated. Link to comment
vincenzo_corbo 0 Posted October 31, 2010 The main subject here is the sun ad the incredible rays of light. They're awesome. Details are clear everywhere in the frame, the leading path is nice but is too centered as the sun. But I think it was hard to change point of view and still get the nice sun from the branches. stp 6 Posted November 1, 2010 Great application of HDR -- this photo would have been impossible without it. Link to comment
gaule 0 Posted November 1, 2010 Many thanks for the kind and encouraging comments. Yes, I would have liked to have the sun less centred and more perhaps to the right, but the turns in the road didn't favour my designs. One way or another, I was happy to be there and to get what nature gives. Link to comment
hamidfarzandian 0 Posted November 1, 2010 Exquisite HDR work with nice handling of light and superb sunrays. I like the composition here. Very eye-catching. Bravo. 7Hamid. Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted November 2, 2010 Lovely PJ! The sun is centered, as pointed out by an earlier comment, but I think is probably the only recourse and because it is so dominant, I think it works well. The balance of the image is so strong that the sunstar is hardly a distraction! Link to comment
jvecino 0 Posted November 5, 2010 I am on the side of those thinking the sun and small road are adequately situated. There is some hidden tension in this apparently peaceful shot: the road and side stone wall drives you to the bottom of the image as one of main subjets of composition while the radiant sun (2nd subject) does exactly the opposite. This dilemma is well framed betweenvertical trees. Definitely, I like it ! Link to comment
