A Postcard From Paris (third in a series)

By your title I assume you refer to the famous "French Post Cards" brought home by our returning troops at the end of WWI.  I have actually seen a collection of the original thing and none of them ever utilized closeups of body parts but generally showed full figure (and most often two figures) images.  Perhaps a few cropped appendages but none eliminated the face.

Its a run in her stocking and I thought it added to the steamy atmosphere...

Very nice, and the sepia in the perfect final touch!  Is the white streak on her left thigh a run in her stocking?

All the mood in this picture points to vintage erotica, yet here i find that i am stuck as i do not know exactly what the photographer is trying to put through to the viewer.

when attempting this form of photography one has to be careful.

i would stick to tradition. in vintage erotica every photo told a simple story, something that could be understood by the most illeterate, anyway they were looking at the naked girl in the picture, so there had to be a simple hint at what the girl/persons in the picture were up to.

by today's standards we might find these postcards a bit naive but still the photography was beautiful.
