Tones and use of the depth of field are interesting and really pleasant to see, however I think that the image can look even better if tyou improve the sharpness of the "in-focus-area".

Enrico, thanks for your comment. The experiment with macro is new to me, and handholding the camera while the Cape southwestern wind blows, was a chance to click the shutter and see what comes out :-)) I agree with you, Im aiming for sharper focus. But its tricky! :-)

the white blend concept here is lovely, Bettie, just as well without a sharpening of piece of color. very pleasing. ;-} dp
