Dear Rajat,

Excellent street shot.

Nice view point, great details and so meaningful shot.

Actually,we all have seen these scenes every time. The misery mixed with some people`s life.I`m so sorry for them but we can not change too much.Admirable shot, dear Rajat and appreciated too much.

It`ll win the price and award.7.

Take care.

Who wouldn't be tempted to capture this 'slice of life'? The trick is to do it is such a way as to be unobtrusive and to try to leave the subject's dignity intact.  I agree with the positive comments above but find that the subjects' darker tones tends to minimize their importance in the scene.  While some surroundings are necessary to maintain context I think you have provided too much.  To much is better than too little in that at least you can crop out what you don't think you need.  Please ponder my version as only you can decide whether it improves your original or diminishes it.  Best, LM.

i'm quite impressed the way you have cropped and re-worked it! this is the kind of feedback i yearn for... i must know what software you have used to achieve what you have! please let me know... you have additionally touched on an aspect i feel deeply about - keeping their dignity intact... i see too many images on PN (and elsewhere) that objectify and even demean fellow human beings... in some of my images i worry about this aspect... it is important to me how the viewer sees the persons i photograph... your feedback is priceless! ...thank you, Len.

I agree with the crop - it removes parts that don't contribute to the scene.

You did a good job with this one - I like emotional photos, and you caught the emotions well.

I would have probably added more contrast to the background. Not sure though if that would be an improvement - I tend to add too much contrast sometimes.

Intresting and valuable series showing life as it is - this one included. However, I agree with Sid and would  prefer a little more 'punch' by adding some contrast to the scenes. Notwithstanding it's the creative choice you made - and for a reason I guess. Regards - El

A young mother comforting the little one while encouraging to older one to learn in their sparse setting. You captured it well. Len has done a remarkable job enhancing the picture and bringing the subjects to lime light.

Next you get a similar situation use a fill flash at low power e.g 1/3rd. Regards ifti.

What a wonderful candid capture. I love the general composition although I think it could be cropped tighter. Wonderful work.
