problems, problems... let's drink

Well seen and nicely exposed. Very nice image fall off with the old man well focused. I'd crop off the bench from just right of the paper bag, leaving the old man more to the right in the frame.

hi JO... THE lines of the bench lead right up to the man. the gray tones are striking and there is a certain dichotomy  to the photo. he seems lost . abandoned yet his beret and garments suggest a touch of class ? take care samme

Jo, I like this a lot. THe man is very intriguing with the wounds on his head, what appears to be some special sort of beret as though it is military, and the clothes he is wearing appear to be very nice (the crisp khaki pants, the double breasted blazer). Also I like that he is looking straight ahead at nothing and that no one seems to notice him. 

I note the large expanse of empty bench,  the bottle, the group of people beyond, suggests the distance between him and others and a kind of detatchment from it all.  The composition works as is.
