Very nice light and colour here. Textures and patterns also come over well. I wonder if a crop removing some of the foreground might be worth trying. You also have a very slight slope on the horizon.

Technically, f22 at 10mm is not going to give you the sharpest image due to diffraction on both the D300 and the lens. At f8 you have a hyperfocal distance of 64cm, so everything would be in focus from 32cm to infinity. On the D300, try to keep apertures at f11 or larger for maximum sharpness.

Hope this helps!

Lester. As usual you have a great image. Your eye for composition is always sharp. I like it very much.

If I may, it could be my screen but I show some banding on the top right and the top left seems a bit too dark may be too much polarizing.

As always great image.

Excellent composition and contrasting colors. Simon also makes an excellent point. I might also consider cropping a little off the bottom and resist using the polarizing filter on the 10mm as it produces drastically different effects across the sky.

besides the fact that the image is near flawless technically, what impresses me most is the fact that it's a great image of a location that may be considered really ordinary.. great eye for composition!.. (personally i think cropping at the bottom would actually weaken the photo).. congratulations..
